Job Summary:
An Account Relationship Manager is responsible for selling software and managing customer satisfaction to achieve both company and personal quotas. Account Relationship Managers will manage and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, negotiate and close business, and mange business relationships with current and new clients. Managers will guide clients through implementation services acting as a liaison with project management and the technology department to ensure successful implementation of new accounts.


  • Develop and manage sales pipeline and opportunities within a defined territory or industry
  • Manage sales through prospecting, lead qualification, forecasting, pipeline management, and account strategy and planning
  • Manage and participate in the creation, presentation and sales of complete value propositions via telephone, internet, webinar and customer meetings
  • Thoroughly qualify and engage all leads and sales opportunities from targeted verticals, web-to-lead, and trade show promotions
  • Lead and assist in responses to RFP, RFI, sales and prospect inquiries
  • Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives at prospect and existing accounts
  • Lead negotiations with client to shape and close the deal
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the Workforce Velocity platform
  • Advise customers on the business value and ROI of the software during the sales cycle
  • Present Workforce Velocity in a compelling, positive and professional way
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, technologies, competitors, and industry trends
  • Provide feedback to marketing on sales tools, prospect intelligence, competition strategy/success, and results from campaign follow up
